Plattco HT-Series slidegates are designed to operate handling materials at temperatures of 1900°F / 1040°C and beyond.  This slidegate is your only choice when it comes to a safe and reliable material shut off when material temperatures are above 1000°F / 540°C.  Customers choose this gate for process critical applications on roasters, smelters, furnaces, boilers, and more.

HT-Series slidegates are rated for application pressures up to 5 PSIG / 0.35 Barg, and can handle material temperatures up to 1900°F / 1040°C.

• The fabricated slidegate housing allows the flexibility to customize the gate’s overall flange-to-flange height and bolt pattern to suit customer specific needs.

• Proprietary floating seat insert allows the gate to handle red hot materials without the possibility of cracking due to thermal expansion – even through thousands of thermal cycles.
• The sloped lower bonnet area prevents material from building up inside the gate’s bonnet.
• Adjustable gate support pins allow for maximum flexibility to set the gate to provide the best possible seal, even at extreme temperatures.
• Maintenance is made easy with in-line removable and replaceable support pins, actuation, sliding blade (gate), and packing glands.
• Variety of actuation options available including pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, electric screw jacks, and manual handwheel or chainwheel actuated screw jacks.
